How is Eggers 42 different?

  • The play. The computerized players are really good. The unique algorithms behind Eggers 42 make for strong bidding and smart play.
  • The multi-player features. Being able to join a game that's already underway, and having a computer player take over if someone quits or gets disconnected means no waiting, no restarting, no interrupted games. Play continuously whenever you want, for as long as you want even when others are coming and going.
  • The 3D experience. Sliding virtual dominos across a virtual table and hearing the clickety clack as they collide with the other dominos is almost like the real thing!

Install instructions

Windows

  1. Download the installer to your 64-bit Windows computer and save it to your desktop or other location you prefer.
  2. Open the installer you downloaded and run it to install.
  3. If Windows displays a message like "Windows protected your PC" then click on the More Info link and then select Run Anyway
  4. After installation, open Eggers 42 from the Start Menu.
  5. Once installed, you may delete the installer program. It is not needed to play or to uninstall the game.

Mac

  1. Download the .pkg file to your Mac
  2. Navigate to Downloads in Finder, right click on Eggers 42.pkg and choose Open from the menu. 
    1. Note: don't simply double click on the package. You must right click and choose Open in order to get the option to complete the installation.
  3. Press OK when prompted that the file "cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer." If you can't press OK, you may need to tell OSX that the app is OK by following these instructions.
  4. After installation, open Eggers 42 from your Applications folder or Launchpad (under Games).
